These facilities are equipped with eco-friendly technologies aimed at reducing CO2 emissions and minimizing our environmental footprint. Furthermore, we are thrilled to share our ambitious goal of expanding these initiatives to include printing and warehouse facilities by 2030. Shinsung Weaving Facility

Our facility does not just run machines. We engineer raw yarn into high-performance structural textiles. Controlling the weaving process from the raw beam to the inspected greige roll allows us to guarantee the strict physical tolerances required by global luxury luggage, outdoor and technical apparel brands.
The Technology
High-Velocity Water-Jet Looms: These machines utilize a high-pressure micro-stream of water to carry the weft yarn across the shed at incredible speeds. It allows us to pack the weave incredibly tight, creating dense, highly stable, and durable base fabrics perfect for ballistic luggage backings and rugged backpack panels.
Advanced Dobby Looms
The Technology: Equipped with electronic dobby heads, these looms can control a large number of harness frames independently. Best Used For: Complex, engineered structural designs. This is where we produce custom ripstop grids (combining standard yarn with double or triple-inserted high-denier reinforcing threads), intricate oxfords, technical twills, mini-hexagons, and textured canvas weaves that give premium bags their distinct hand-feel and visual depth.
Post Weaving Quality Assurance. Visual Quality Grading.
Once a fabric roll is woven, it enters our dedicated raw inspection zone to be certified before moving to dyeing or finishing. The International 4-Point System. 100% of our woven greige goods are passed over back-lit inspection tables. Trained inspection technicians evaluate every yard against strict global defect scoring standards.
SHINSUNG Dyeing Facility
Our advanced dyeing and finishing facility operates under the Shinsung Sustainability Act. By integrating intelligent color matching with eco-friendly chemical management, we deliver flawless lot-to-lot color consistency, advanced functional finishes, and rigorous environmental compliance.
ZDHC & Clean Chemistry Controls
Utilizing tracking systems such as The BHive and the ZDHC Gateway, we monitor and manage our chemical inventory to support responsible chemical management and help minimize the discharge of hazardous substances during wet processing and finishing operations.
Computer-Controlled Chemical
By reducing the potential for human error, our automated dosing systems ensure that chemicals and dyestuffs are introduced at the precise temperature and rate required for consistent, high-quality, streak-free fabric production.

Visual Inspection & Physical Property
Every production lot is visually audited under multiple international standard light sources (D65) ensuring the fabric color remains perfectly consistent whether viewed in a retail showroom, outdoors, or under warehouse lighting.
Advanced Color Management
To help reduce the chemical and water consumption associated with traditional trial-and-error color matching, our laboratory utilizes a fully integrated digital color management system.
Advanced Color Spectrophotometry: Using industry-leading Datacolor® and X-Rite® color measurement systems, we capture and analyze precise spectral data to achieve accurate color formulation and consistent color reproduction.
Physical Performance Verification
Finished fabric batches undergo strict laboratory testing for tear strength, seam slippage, colorfastness, and water-repellency ratings before final roll approval and packaging.
SHINSUNG PFAS-Free Finishing Facility
At SHINSUNG J&T, we are proud to announce our advanced finishing production facility. Engineered from the ground up to be 100% PFAS-free, this facility represents a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, workplace safety, and global compliance. With evolving international regulations and increasing restrictions on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), we have proactively invested in this dedicated production environment to help ensure our high-performance textiles remain free from intentionally added PFAS without compromising technical excellence.
Finished Fabric Inspection & Quality Control Standards
We enforce a strict, multi-stage quality control protocol before any finished textile leaves our facility. 100% of our finished rolls undergo rigorous laboratory testing and visual grading to guarantee structural uniformity, color exactness, and flawless physical performance.
Colorfastness Verification
We test our fabrics to ensure colors are built to last. Each batch is evaluated for resistance to washing, water, rubbing, and color transfer to help maintain a vibrant appearance over time. This helps ensure your products stay looking fresh while minimizing fading and staining, even after repeated wear.
Flawless Weight & Consistency
No variations. Just exceptional consistency. We carefully test fabric thickness, weight, and thread count throughout every production batch. This helps ensure that every roll of fabric delivers the same look, feel, and performance from the first yard to the last.
Our Final Inspection Process
We conduct a final inspection when an order is 100% finished and at least 80% packed. This gives us an honest look at the entire production run. Random Testing: We don't just check the top boxes. We pull samples completely at random from the beginning, middle, and end of the production batch. Tag & Barcode Scanning: We scan the barcodes and check the hangtags on-site to make sure they register perfectly for retail scanners.

Finishing & Lamination Technologies. We offer wide range of finishing and lamination solutions designed to enhance the performance, durability, and functionality of polyester, nylon, cotton, and blended textiles.
PU Coating
A lightweight polyurethane coating that enhances water resistance, durability, and fabric stability by reducing yarn fraying while maintaining a soft hand feel.
TPU Lamination
A high-performance thermoplastic polyurethane membrane that delivers exceptional waterproofness, flexibility, abrasion resistance, and long-lasting durability. It also helps maintain the material's structural integrity and shape.
PVC Lamination
A durable and cost-effective solution that provides excellent weather resistance, abrasion protection, and long service life for industrial and outdoor applications. It also offers added structural support and shape retention.
TPE Lamination
An advanced elastomer-based lamination that provides flexibility, comfort, and a lower environmental impact compared to traditional PVC systems. It also enhances structural stability while maintaining material performance.
Water Repellent Finish
Creates a protective surface barrier that causes water to bead and roll off the fabric rather than being absorbed. Available in multiple performance levels, from light water repellency for everyday applications to highly durable treatments designed for outdoor, travel, and performance products.
Anti-Microbial Finish
Inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold, and other microorganisms on the fabric surface. This treatment helps improve hygiene, reduce unwanted odors, and extend the freshness of products exposed to frequent use, moisture, or challenging environments.
Anti-Dust Finish
Reduces the attraction and accumulation of dust, dirt, and airborne particles on textile surfaces. This finish helps maintain a cleaner appearance, simplifies maintenance, and improves the overall user experience in both consumer and industrial applications.
Stain & Oil Repellent Finish
Provides advanced protection against water-based stains, oils, and everyday spills by reducing liquid penetration into the fabric. Available with PFAS-free technologies to support modern sustainability goals while maintaining excellent stain resistance and easy-clean performance.
Jersey Interlock Bonding
A knitted backing bonded to the fabric to enhance structure, cushioning, and shape retention while maintaining flexibility and comfort. This construction provides a soft, supportive feel and is widely used in bags, footwear, and technical applications where durability and dimensional stability are essential.
Nonwoven Backing
A lightweight reinforcement layer designed to improve dimensional stability, tear resistance, and overall material support without significantly increasing weight. This cost-effective solution enhances product performance while maintaining flexibility.
Customized Performance Finishes
Additional treatments can be tailored to meet specific performance objectives and end-use requirements. Available options include UV protection, moisture management, anti-static properties, flame retardancy, wrinkle resistance, soft-touch enhancement, and other functional technologies designed to improve comfort, durability, and overall product performance.
